Find answers to common questions about our services and how we can help your family.

What is KaNun Digital?
KaNun Digital provides enterprise-grade digital security expertise for families. We help families understand and improve their digital security, privacy, and healthy technology habits. Our services include family privacy audits, co-parenting technology support, kids online safety education, and screen time intervention.
Who can benefit from your services?
Any family concerned about digital security, privacy, kids' online safety, or healthy technology habits. We also work with professionals: therapists recommend us to clients, attorneys bring us in for custody-related tech disputes, and mediators use our expertise to help families reach consensus.
How much does a consultation cost?
Initial consultations are free. We'll discuss your situation and which service might be right for your family. If you decide to move forward, we'll provide clear pricing for the specific service you choose.
What's the difference between your four services?
Family Privacy Sweep is a complete digital audit covering all devices, accounts, and permissions. Co-Parenting Tech Support helps separated/blended families establish fair digital agreements. Kids Online Safety provides education and tool setup for children. Screen Time Intervention helps families build healthier device habits.
How long does a Family Privacy Sweep take?
The assessment typically takes 2-3 hours and involves your family's input about devices, concerns, and goals. We then provide a detailed report and guide you through implementation at your own pace. Most families need 2-4 follow-up sessions to complete all fixes.
Do I need to have all my devices in person for a Family Privacy Sweep?
Ideally yes, so we can see exactly what you have and what each device can do. But we can also work with a detailed inventory and remote access if devices can't all be present. We'll work with what's practical for your family.
What if my family can't agree on digital rules?
That's exactly what our Co-Parenting Technology Support service is designed for. Whether you're separated, in a blended family, or just can't get everyone on the same page, we help facilitate conversations and create fair agreements everyone understands.
Are your assessments suitable for family court?
Yes. We document everything in detail, maintain objectivity, and provide findings suitable for family law proceedings. We've worked with family law attorneys on custody-related digital disputes.
What age should kids be to start Online Safety education?
We tailor education to different ages. Kids as young as 6-8 benefit from foundational concepts like password safety and private information. Preteens need conversations about privacy and oversharing. Teens need guidance on digital reputation and online relationships. We meet kids where they are.
Does Screen Time Intervention involve taking devices away?
Not necessarily. We focus on understanding why people reach for devices and creating sustainable habits. Sometimes that involves screen time limits or device-free times, but it's about building healthy alternatives, not punishment. We help families find what works for them.
Can you help with cyberbullying situations?
Yes, as part of our Kids Online Safety service. We help kids recognize bullying, understand how to respond safely, and know when to tell an adult. For serious situations, we also help preserve evidence and may recommend involving appropriate authorities.
Are your recommendations going to mean my kids can't use any apps?
No. We're not about restriction for its own sake. We help families make informed decisions about which apps and tools are right for each age and situation. We focus on security and healthy habits, not limiting kids' access to everything.
Do you provide ongoing support after the initial service?
Yes. We provide follow-up coaching and support to help families implement recommendations, answer questions, and adjust as kids grow or new technologies emerge. We remain available for ongoing guidance.
How is our information kept confidential?
All client information is kept strictly confidential. We don't share findings without explicit consent except where required by law or in child safety emergencies. We follow professional ethics standards for handling sensitive family information.
Can professionals (therapists, attorneys, mediators) refer clients to you?
Absolutely. We work actively with mental health professionals, family law attorneys, and mediators. If you're a professional interested in referring clients, contact us to discuss partnership opportunities.
